This is my newest page and is made in memory of all our chipmunks and squirrels who have passed on. I want this to be a page where everyone can visit to remember their little friends. We all loved them so much and will miss them alot. Please email me with a photo(s) & a note to be added & i will gladly add them into our memorial page.

Ellie
This is Ellie. My dilute princess. Ellie was hand reared from quite young (as her mother died) by her 'foster mum' Jane. Jane couldnt keep Ellie as she was keeping Ellies 2 brothers and didnt want any inbreeding to go on. so that was when i contacted Jane i asked if i could take her. I wanted a dilute for a while and when i offered to take Elle on i didnt know she was a dilute until i went to collect her. She was a really lovely chipmunk and i will always remember her.
She died in her sleep and we found her the next morning.
R.I.P Ellie, April 06 - Sept 27th 06, we will miss you xx
2nd Litter
On Thursday 6th June 06 Max had her 2nd litter of 3, 1 was stillborn and then sadly on 8th June 06 the other 2 also died. Max was fine and carrying on as normal as though it never happened. While they were alive i managed
to get some pics as Max decided to show them off and take them on a tour of the cage. I held them the day they were born as Max kept leaving them by themselves and i had to check them and thats when i found the stillborn. She continued to care for them for the rest of that day and the day after. She went to bed with them that night but in the morning they had gone. R.I.P babies, i loved you even though you were only with me a few days xxx
Lewis
Our little grey squiirrel lewis passed away at the end of september 06, he was 6 months old. We love him dearly. He was found as a baby, and we raised him, about a week before his release date
we came home to find him paralyzed from
waist down, i took him to 3 vets and after
x rays it seemed he had a birth abnormality
with a vertebre in his spine and he could have been paralyzed at anytime. We were lucky that it happened before release. We kept him and loved him and we built a special cage with ramps for him to scurry around, he was not paralyzed in his own mind and loved everyone.

Ant
This chipmunk is called Ant. He unfortunatly got pneumonia, the vet perscribed antibiotics etc but poor Ant lost the battle. He was 4years and 6months old.
His owners will miss him very much but they feel he had a happy life and was loved very much by them.
R.I.P little guy.

Bargey
This is Bargey, 1 of Max and Paddys sons from litter3. He went to his new home with his brother who was named Argey.
Unfortunaly he was attacked and killed by 2 dilute chipmunks of the same age who came from a very bad litter.
He was loved very much by his owners Ian, Kieley and the children and will be missed dearly. He used to love coming out and playing with them all.
RIP Bargey
Paddy
This is Paddy. He was my very first chipmunk along with Max.
He was 3yrs old and was found dead in his nest box, nothing looked wrong so we think he died in his sleep.
His will be sadly missed.
Rip Pads
Miss you
Unfortunately 2 more of kays chipmunks have recently died leaving kay with just max , More details & pictures of the 2 will be added shortly . R.I.P little furries , Lyndsey x
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
